Phenix a Huge Sales Boost for Travel Counsellors

Travel Counsellors has enjoyed a booming beginning to 2010 with their in- house dynamic packaging system Phenix a major contributing factor to the successful start.

General Manager Australia Peter Watson commented; “It really has been a sensational start to 2010, we have had some fantastic results all round but without doubt the best and most pleasing result has been with our “in house” programme Phenix. We have had four straight record sales months for Phenix, and with just on a week to go March will certainly give us number five”

Phenix is a specifically designed, exclusive, in-house booking system that enables Travel Counsellors the world over to access extremely competitive hotel, transfer and car hire rates, plus some sightseeing options from a range of directly contracted properties and suppliers including, amongst others, Tour East and GTA.

“The true benefit of Phenix is the absolutely fantastic margin that it delivers to our TC’s,” said Watson; “our average margin on Phenix sales over the last five months has been in excess of 22% and that is an excellent figure and a major contributor to the overall growth of our average margins this year.”

Gross sales have built to just over $750k in the period which represents a huge growth over the corresponding period last year and a continuation of the success story that is Phenix. Commenting Watson said, “Phenix not only delivers the single most consistently competitive range of product that we have available but it does so at a margin that is nothing short of exceptional.  It is the lifeblood of our business”
