Filmmakers flying the flag for Canada in Sydney

Leading filmmakers are flying into Australia direct from Canada, courtesy of Air Canada, for the Fifth Canadian Film Festival that will take place in Sydney from 2nd to 8th August 2010. Film producer Gerry Flahive will be here for the Australian premiere of his documentary “Invisible City” and Canadian actress and filmmaker Nelofer Pazira will also make an appearance at the festival for the Australian premiere of her new film Act of Dishonour".

Air Canada has been a supporter of the Canadian Film Festival since its inception in 2006 bringing leading directors and actors to Sydney to help showcase the best of the country’s filmmaking talents.

The festival offers Sydney-siders a unique opportunity to watch all types of Canadian stories.
