Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, has announced a new multi-year agreement with leading leisure travel organisation, Kuoni. Building on a long term relationship, Travelport will continue to provide tour operator Kuoni with a range of Galileo applications and ticketing solutions, flexible at a country level. The renewed deal takes effect in 11 countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Scandinavia, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. Benno Iten, chief information officer at Kuoni, commented: "Travelport has always been an important GDS provider for us and we are confident that as a result of this new agreement, we will continue to receive impressive scope and quality of content coupled with leading technology solutions, beneficial for us and our customers."
