BILL LEE JOINS THE MTA SUPPORT TEAM
 
We are thrilled to announce that fares and ticketing guru, and industry personality BILL LEE has joined the support team of Mobile Travel Agents of Australia.
 
Bill started his career in the U.K. and since then has worked in the Australian travel industry for more than 40 years.
 
His vast industry air product experience includes more than 12 years with Japan Airlines, supervisor with Concorde, fares and ticketing roles for JL, CX, BA, and GSA roles for Finnair, Emirates, Air Zimbabwe, Aloha, Royal Nepal, Ethiopian etc.
 
He moved into the online retail arena in 1996, and after establishing fares and ticketing operations for listed public company travel.com.au, he managed and ran them for the next 4 years .
 
As Airline & Fares Operations Manager with MTA, Bill will oversee all airline aspects of the business, further developing operational systems and fare delivery. He will take up negotiations and continue to develop airline product and relationships.
 
Bill’s previous experience in the home working model ensures he understands the needs of the home working consultant, and his exceptional knowledge of air product is unsurpassed in Australia.
 
He is already establishing himself as a hit with our mobile consultants with comments being made daily like “How good is Bill.... So well delivered and just what we really need. Cheers, James”.
 
We are proud to welcome him to MTA and know he will prove a huge asset to both our mobile consultants and our management team in the coming months and years.
