The travel industry was alive last night in Melbourne as guests were spoiled with great food, free drinks, some trivia an abundance of prizes. This special Thirsty Thursdays night was proudly sponsored by VISA at the exclusive Tonic Bar - Crown Promenade Hotel.
Melbournians really know how to mingle and relax especially since VISA announced an open bar on the night which occurred straight after a fun Trivia. Guests were given an opportunity to learn about VISA's prepaid cards, the many locations where you can use the card and a few even brushed up on their language skills "Vous accepts les cartes VISA" which means "Do you accept VISA cards".
The RSVP Prize was won by Jodie from Travel Managers
VISA Trivia Prizes were won by the following teams which some may know.
3rd Prize "JC's Travel Managers & Traveleague" won $50 VISA prepaid card per team member
2nd Prize "Travel Bikes-Where everyone gets a ride" won $150 VISA prepaid card per team member
1st Prize "Craisy Daisy's APT" won $250 VISA prepaid card per team member
Business Card Draw winners included
Delfor (South America Tourism) won a Hamper of Duty Free Goodies from F1rst Tax & Duty Free.
Gai (HRG Australia) won one night accommodation and breakfast for two at Crown Promenade Hotel.
Sarah Allen (Corporate Travel Management) won the return ticket to Mauritius flying Air Mauritius plus a $100 VISA prepaid card.
