APT sales lead to internal promotion
Australian Pacific Touring (APT) promoted General Manager Chris Hall to Chief Executive Officer after last month’s extraordinary sales despite the weak economy.
Mr Hall’s promotion comes after the 83 year old Mc Geary family owned company experienced sales “at a scale never experienced before”.
“In June we embarked on an unprecedented consumer marketing campaign to drive business through our retail partners doors and we were staggered by the response to this campaign,” Mr Hall said.
Reporting to Barry Matter APT Group Managing Director, the new CEO will be responsible for the APT Executive Team as well as the APT Business Unit that comprises the brands APT, Travelmarvel, Botanica, World Discoveries and VIP Touring.
Former General Manager Administration David Cox was also promoted to General Manager Commercial.
