Rail Europe announces Swiss Pass free upgrade promotion

The sun is shining in Switzerland and Rail Europe is delighted to announce that for a limited time you can enjoy the luxury of first class travel for a second class price, with a free upgrade offer available for sales from 15 August to 15 September 2010 for travel from 15 September to 30 November 2010.  Simply purchase any second class pass during this time and it will be automatically upgraded so you can enjoy the luxury and benefits of first class.

Swiss Rail Passes are the key to travelling in Switzerland - offering unlimited travel by train, boat and bus as well as fantastic bonuses such as free entrance to more than 400 museums and 50% discount on most mountain-top trains and cable-cars.

For example the 4 day Flexi pass costs just $261 for second class with a free upgrade to first that usually costs $391 - a saving of $ 130.

Children under 16 travel free.
