Kumuka Worldwide has made recent appointments to its Australia team.

Tomas Malmberg has recently been appointed to the role of Queensland Business Development Manager.

Tomas has travelled extensively through some really amazing places throughout Asia, North & South America, the Pacific Islands, Europe, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.

Tomas comes from a Swedish background and began his travels in the Northern Hemisphere, when he spent 2 years working in Budapest, Hungary. “I’m definitely a globe trotter” he says.

Tomas career started at a Cruise Company based on the Gold Coast and has since pursued a sales focused career in the Travel and Tourism industry, most recently as Business Development Manager with the Hotel Grand Chancellor.

“I really enjoy meeting people and love travel so it's always been a good fit. I loved the idea of working for Kumuka because they offer people not just a holiday but a real adventure that can be boasted about to their friends and workmates and also gives the opportunity to meet other adventure seekers from around the world” Tomas says.

The appointment comes as a result of the recent departure of Rebecca Willox, who held this position since February 2008.
