Brian McFadden tweets off Delta Airlines

Friday, 27 August 2010

Move over Russell Crowe and Mariah Carey, there is a new diva in town, Brian McFadden was fuming red after a flight on Delta Airlines didn't meet his standards.

The flight between Los Angeles and New York collected 12 tweets from the British singer who cursed the carrier's hospitality or lack of, leg spacing, and for losing his luggage.

Mr McFadden even tweeted his future choice of travel, Virgin Airlines or walk across the country.

"I recommend you fly Virgin or a different U.S airline. Every moment of this flight from checking in to baggage claim was below par!"

Perhaps he boarded the flight expecting the airline to not only match the name but sweet personality of Australian fiancé Delta Goodrem.

Mr McFadden isn't the only high profile celebrity targeting airlines over Twitter, American screen writer and film producer Kevin Smith blasted Southwest Airlines earlier in the year after being thrown off the aircraft for being "too fat".

Former Australian cricketer Shane Warne also used the social networking site last month to target British Airways after receiving poor service from "arrogant and rude … people".

Do you think these rants are justified or are they just acting like divas?
