The General Manager of Vision Hotels and Resorts, Craig Biber is pleased to welcome Darlene Holdsworth to the team as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Ms Holdsworth will assume her role this week which will have her overseeing and implementing the sales and marketing strategies for both Vision Hotels and Resorts’ properties - Paradise Palms Resort and Country Club and The Lakes Cairns Resort and Spa.

Before taking up this position, Darlene has spent the last seven years working within Tropical North Queensland’s tourism and hospitality industry. Positions include Conference Sales Manager for Hilton Cairns, event manager at Offsite Connections and most recently, sales for Tourism Tropical North Queensland’s meetings, events and incentive department.

Mr Biber said the company is fortunate to have Darlene join the team. “Her extensive experience within hotels, and particularly, the conference and incentive market, will be invaluable to the sales and marketing success of both Paradise Palms and The Lakes. Add to this, her deep understanding and passion for marketing the region,” he said.
