A Golden Month for Travel Counsellors

Leading independent travel company Travel Counsellors is congratulating two of its top performers this week.

Sydney based Melissa Ingles and Melbourne based Claudia Silk are the latest to join the ranks of top-performing “Gold Travel Counsellors” who have achieved commissions totalling $110,000 or more in a 12 month period. Worldwide, the Gold agents account for 30% of the company’s sales.

Claudia comments; “I feel so proud to have achieved what I have in my business since becoming one of the first Travel Counsellors in Australia just 3 years ago”.  I have so many friends around the world in this TC family who haven’t stopped calling and emailing to congratulate me”.

Travel Counsellors have two entry points for Gold status each year – on November 1 and May 1 – with results based on the previous 12 month figures. Claudia and Melissa join Lucy Fenwick and Scott Mayne, the other Gold Travel Counsellors in Australia. The company now has 100 homeworking consultants across the country.

Adds Melissa “I am thrilled to be a Gold Travel Counsellor.” The hard work and commitment has been worth it and the level of support from our head office has enabled me to build my business into the success it is today.”

General Manager Cathy Burke says; “At Travel Counsellors we have a proven system of success in which we empower the very best travel professionals to run their own businesses from home and we give them all the support and technology they need so that they can focus purely on the service they give to their customers. All of our agents and in particular our Gold Travel Counsellors embrace this system and have proved it is possible to thrive in an industry they love.”
