From November this year, Singapore Airlines is set to increase flight frequencies to and from New Zealand in time for the New Zealand summer. According to the airline, the added flights are in response to a jump in demand and will give passengers travelling between the two destinations more choice when they fly. "Singapore Airlines is delighted to be able to offer New Zealanders more flights during what will surely be a busy holiday season," Singapore Airlines New Zealand General Manager Looi Tein Po said. Between 1 November 2010 and 31 March 2011, Singapore Airlines will add two flights to and from Christchurch, the airline set to service the route with seven flights a week. The additional Tuesday and Thursday flights to and from Auckland will be available between 22 November 2010 and 31 January 2011. These additional summer flights are now available for booking. |
