Part Time Wholesale Travel Consultant
Buffalo Tours is an outbound wholesaler specializing in FIT and tailor made tours in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. With over 200 staff and 6 offices globally we are the leading wholesaler/tour operator in the Indochina region.
Based in our Sydney office in Surry Hills we require the services of a Permanent Part-time Wholesale Travel Consultant with relevant industry experience and an in-depth knowledge of Vietnam, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia.
Applicants should have:
- At least 2 recent years of experience working in either a wholesale or retail sales role within the travel industry
- Travelled extensively to Vietnam & Thailand.
- Experience with MYOB (desirable but not essential)
- Excellent customer service skills and be confident to promote our product over the telephone
- Good phone manner
- Ability to work autonomously in a small team
- Attention to detail
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Responsibilities include
- Liaise with Travel Agents to convert client requests into a quotation brief
- Answer incoming phone calls and assisting with email enquiries
- Offer sales and administration support for our on road BDM's
- Manage bookings and correspondence through a Customer Relations Management System (CRM)
- Issue invoices and run financial reports through MYOB
- Work with airline consolidators on ticketing bookings
Hours: 16 hours per week across either 2 or preferably 3 days a week on every Thursday, Friday and Monday.
