Best Western, IHG hotels in Christchurch still open

Best Western hotels in Christchurch, New Zealand have confirmed that they are still open following the earthquake that rocked the Canterbury region over the weekend.

Best Western Camelot Motor Lodge and Best Western Clyde on Riccarton suffered minimal damage over the weekend but are still open to guests.

Ann Due, New Zealand Sales Manager for Best Western Australasia said, “Despite a short power cut, both hotels are back to operating as usual. Our hotel owners are in good Kiwi spirits and look forward to seeing guests return to the area as soon as possible”.

IHG’s (InterContinental Hotels Group) three hotels in Christchurch remain open following the earthquake.

It has been confirmed that Crowne Plaza Christchurch, Holiday Inn City Centre Christchurch and Holiday Inn on Avon Christchurch are structurally sound and operational.
