Sliding into Changi Airport has never been more high

Monday, 6 September 2010

Travellers visiting Singapore’s Changi Airport may think they’ve stepped into an amusement park after the airport added a large, twisty and slippery slide.

The extravagant addition was unveiled this week and declared the world’s tallest airport slide standing at 40 feet high, USA Today reported

Just like any carnival ride people will have to submit tokens for a turn, spending over $22 at the airport can redeem tokens for two rides with ten rides maximum per receipt.

People unwilling to spend cash for a ride are free to use the shorter sample slide.

The slide is just one of many pleasurable features added to the airport others include a butterfly garden, nature walks, outdoor rooftop pool and free city sightseeing tours.
