The Australian Airports Association (AAA) has appointed Ms. Caroline Wilkie as Executive Director, taking over from Mr. Ken Keech who is retiring after almost 13 years of invaluable service. AAA Chairman, John McArdle says Ms. Wilkie will join the Association early in October, prior to the Annual Convention and Technical Workshop in Adelaide. She will lead the AAA as it embraces this new and dynamic environment confronting the Australian aviation industry. "Ms. Wilkie brings a wealth of relevant experience to this important industry role, having strong networks within Government, with proven success in the areas of media communication and strong stakeholder relationships," Mr. McArdle says. "She has indicated a passion for the industry and genuine enthusiasm for her new role". Ms. Wilkie has held the position of National Manager Airports and Transport with the Tourism and Transport Forum for the past 7 years, during which time she has developed an excellent working relationship with a number of AAA members. Ms. Wilkie has exceptional qualifications in Political Science, Law, Public Affairs, Strategic Management and Media Relations. |
