The name says it all – Paradise in Fiji Resort – Taveuni Island

Kim, on location for eTravel Blackboard at the idyllic [the name says it all really] Paradise in Fiji Resort on Taveuni Island with Leroy my ever relaxed and smiling Kiwi travelling companion.

There simply aren’t words to convey just how beautiful the scenery and staff are at this relaxed family owned and operated resort. 

It’s the personal touches that make Paradise in Fiji Resort so unique and from the moment we arrived we felt part of the Paradise family. 

Our first night was a hosted meal with Aussie resort owner Allan, who proved a personalised three course menu just for us.  Fantastic!

All meals throughout our stay were inventive and delicious. 

With only 10 traditional Fijian bures at ‘Paradise in Fiji’ we really felt pampered and special. 

The gardens are beautifully manicured and there is stunning horizon edge pool that overlooks the ocean.  Just the place for me to relax!

Taveuni has some amazing dive sites which attract divers from all over the world to this idyllic location and Paradise in Fiji has a well-equipped dive shop and fully trained professional dive team. 

Leroy took to the water one morning for a shore dive which he thoroughly enjoyed while I learnt the art of basket weaving. 

We both indulged in a massage together though at Paradise Spa, an open air bure overlooking the ocean…. Magic and while Leroy enjoyed a drink and relaxed on the lounge, I continued my treatment with a special Fijian body wrap which had me wrapped up in banana leaves.   Amazing!

Paradise in Fiji is definitely the place to stay if you’re looking for romance and a secluded place to enjoy each other’s company. 

It’s also the place for divers and anyone who seeks a more personal and authentic Fijian experience. 

Our hosts Allan and Terri were incredibly generous with their time and allowed us to enjoy and appreciate their beautiful resort and Paradise in Fiji.
