The great way to get to Plantation

Thursday, 9 September 2010

Kim and Leroy get the cat!

Bula! Bula! Bula!, Kim and Leroy reporting for eTravel Blackboard and Bula is well and truly part of our vocabulary now.

Today we are heading over to Plantation Island Resort for a two night stay and have made our way to the Port of Denarau for our Malolo Cat launch transfer.

Our first impression of Malolo Cat is a very cheerful and friendly one.

Barry gave us a friendly overview and our boarding chips and return transfer slip were handed over soon after the check-in counter opened.

Malolo Cat provides daily scheduled departs from Denarau Marina and Plantation Island Resort and Muscat Cove three times a day. (10:30am, 2:00pm and 5:00pm).

Malolo Cat is comfortable and takes only 50 minutes to reach Plantation Island Resort where we are staying.

Leroy and I took the 5:00pm launch over to Plantation and watched the sun going down over the surrounding islands.

We sat upstairs at the rear of the Catamaran on our arrival and departure transfers, a fantastic vantage point to view flying fish and sea turtles.

Malolo Cat had friendly and helpful staff and crew.

For those visiting Plantation Island, Malolo Cat would be a nice start and finish to an island holiday.
