Chase Travel International, Australia's newest online wholesaler, has appointed Moneydirect as its exclusive travel industry payment solution.
Established in 1990, headquartered in Ireland and now operating across Europe and the Middle East, Chase Travel officially unveiled its first Australian online presence in July 2010.
The company’s website provides agents with access to an extensive range of products, including 45,000 hotels and resorts, international cruises, car rental, tours, attractions, transfers and event tickets.
Katrina South, Chase Travel's Australian Business Development Manager, said agents could now use the travel industry’s most trusted, reliable and secure payment solution to pay for all of the company’s products.
“Chase Travel provides agents with ability to search and book product 24/7 and we wanted to work with a payment provider offering the same level of convenience and efficiency," South said.
Moneydirect General Manager Asia Pacific Peter de Maria said the new exclusive arrangement further expands a strong existing relationship with Chase Travel International’s European operations.
“We have developed a close and trusted partnership with Chase Travel in Ireland and so it’s only natural the company would adopt the Moneydirect payment platform in the local Australian market.”
