Australia’s Asian travel specialist, Travel Indochina, has a simple message for travellers looking for affordable luxury in 2011 - head to China and India.

Managing Director of Travel Indochina, Paul Hole, says that travellers to India and China next year will benefit from significant price reductions in their popular Small Group Journeys compared to 2010. 

“India is seeing pricing for 2011 come down by 8 – 10%, with China offering reductions of 8 – 12% compared to this time last year.  That’s a great saving for small group travellers,” says Paul.

“Those percentages translated mean real dollar savings for people booking Small Group Journeys to India and China.

This year, you can book a 14 day ‘Highlights of Rajasthan’ Small Group Journey from $3265pp.  In 2011 the same Small Group Journey will be reduced to $3015, a saving per person of $250.  A 15 day ‘China Panorama’ Small Group Journey starts at $3590pp in 2010.  We can offer the same experience in 2011 from $3155.  That’s a saving per person of $435.

“China and India are destinations that offer travellers a once in a lifetime experience and in 2011 a trip to these places gives you the added bonus of leaving you with money in the bank when you come home.”

While big savings can be found in India and China, Travel Indochina says there are great deals on offer for a number of its Small Group Journeys to numerous Asian destinations, including the Deluxe Journeys in Vietnam.
