Travelport launches 2011 campaign: think great business ideas, think Travelport Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, has embarked on an initiative to assist agency customers run a more successful business. The think great business ideas, think Travelport campaign will run throughout 2011 providing travel businesses in Australia and New Zealand with simple strategies to take their business from good to great. Each month, Travelport will release a new tip sheet to its customer base, focusing on a different business activity. “We have identified 12 business strategies or ‘Tips’ that every travel company can employ in 2011 to grow their business. Our inaugural Tip for January focused on developing a business plan for the short, medium and long-term, and we have received a lot of positive feedback from our customers,” said Fiona Ross, Travelport’s regional marketing manager. The Tips cover the gamut of running a business from monitoring overheads, generating customer loyalty and creating first impressions; to undertaking public relations, effective marketing strategies and brand building. Each Tip incorporates practical steps and information to assist business managers in implementing the activities within their own business. One Tip will be disseminated each month to Travelport’s customer base, with all 12 Tips appearing in a desktop calendar that will be provided to agents at the end of the year.
