Following the tragic earthquake and the subsequent tsunami which struck Japan on Friday 11 March 2011, Kumuka would like to confirm that we had no groups travelling in Japan at the time.

We are reviewing the situation daily and waiting for the assessment of the situation in Tokyo before making a decision on whether the ASJ1 ‘Highlights of Japan’ tour departing 01 April 2011, and the ASJ3 ‘Japan Discovered’ tour departing 08 April 2011 can run as scheduled.

We are also monitoring the situation around the Pacific and following any advice issued by local authorities in South America and other regions.
