JAL Group Extends Operation of Extra Flights to Yamagata to April 7, 2011

JAL Group has been utilizing its resources to support the early recovery of the Tohoku region in Japan that was most affected by the recent disaster. As of March 24, JAL has operated a total of 372 extra flights to the area since March 12, 2011.

JAL announced last week that it will extend the daily operation of round trip flights to Yamagata from Osaka (Itami) as well as Sapporo, till April 7, 2011.

The airline group continues to support ongoing efforts in Tohoku and will make further announcements should there be more extra flights scheduled.
