Sunshine Coast attractions will be part of Experience Oz’s Ultimate SE Qld Challenge this weekend.

The Facebook competition has been run by Experience Oz, an online ticketing and travel experiences website. The film crew will be capturing all the fears, screams and laughs in their new online experience videos. The winners were selected from over 200 photo and video entries from across the country.

Competition winners Courtney Barnes and James Tidmarsh of Brisbane will tour with a film crew and complete in whirlwind great race style, 20 attractions in 3 days in 3 cities -–the Sunshine Coast, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.

James and Courtney will hoon around the Big Kart Track, have a tiger encounter at Australia Zoo, jump on a ride at Aussie World, get shot into the air at the new Mooloolabah Missile and have a seal encounter at Underwater World. The crew and competition winners will be staying at the Rydges Oasis Resort in Caloundra and will also capture footage on the Sunshine Coast destination that will further promote the region.

Local tourism couple, Mr Joe Braund, Operation Manager at Aussie World and Tanya Braund of Monaco Apartments in Caloundra had an outstanding entry that just missed out on winning.

Experience Oz were so impressed by their entry and support, they have invited them to a Nth Queensland challenge to be held later in the year.

The two competition winners have received 4 nights accommodation, return flights from their nearest Australian Capital City, $1000 spending money, all meals, prize pack with camera and can’t buy travel experiences on the Sunshine Coast!
