A stay at Fusion Maia begins the moment guests touch down at the airport. Greeted with chilled towels and bottled water, guests are transported by car to the stunning resort on China Beach. A day at Fusion Maia begins with breakfast and the buffet selection at Five Dining Room is particularly impressive, with dedicated egg and noodle stations and a variety of breads, pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit. There are also a la carte choices – should the buffet fail to impress. Guests can also choose to enjoy breakfast by the pool (with the beach not far off in the distance) or in bed if that’s what pleases.

Fusion Maia sets itself apart from other resorts by including all spa treatments in the room rate, which means guests can spoil themselves with a facial and manicure in the morning, a massage in the afternoon and a body wrap at night – all at no extra cost. Treatments typically begin with a foot bath with fresh mint, as the soothing music puts guests in a relaxing mood.

When guests aren’t occupied at the spa, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy – including watersports, yoga sessions and tea appreciation classes. iPads are also available should guests wish to connect with friends and family back home.
