MSC Cruises Mediterranean – South American Combo

Wednesday, 25 May 2011

MSC Cruises has unveiled an exciting 20-night fly-cruise package which combines a Mediterranean sailing from Italy to France, Spain and Portugal with a trans-Atlantic crossing and a cruise of Brazil’s scenic coast.

Priced from $4228 per person, twin share, the ocean voyage package begins on November 17, 2011 with an Emirates economy class flight from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth to Milan and includes a transfer to Genoa to join a 17-night cruise aboard MSC Orchestra to Santos.

On board meals and entertainment are also included along with invitations to the captain’s cocktail party and gala dinner.

As a bonus after the voyage, MSC Cruises has included a day’s escorted tour of Santos and San Paulo with a traditional South American lunch, the tour finishing at San Paulo Airport where guests board for the homeward flight.

Port charges and airport taxes are also included in the price, which starts at bargain $4725 a cabin for single travellers.

Launched in 2007, MSC Orchestra is one of 11 cruise ships to make up the ever-expanding MSC Cruises fleet, operating in the Mediterranean as well as on South American cruises.

As with other members of the Italian family-owned fleet, MSC Orchestra allows children under 18 years to cruise free when sharing a cabin with two paying adults (port charges are additional).
