TravelManagers have recently launched another marketing campaign off the back of their successful “Bare Facts” advertisements. TravelManagers’ executive general manager, Mandy Scotney, who appeared in the advertisements, says the series hit the mark.

“The enquiry level was significant and it resulted in a number of new personal travel managers, we are in expansion mode and are hoping these new advertisements will generate a similar level of success.
Andrea Turner, Zoe Hemming, Merran Wiggins and Karen Farley have all worked with other well known mobile travel groups and while all, except Karen Farley, joined TravelManagers before the “Bare Facts” campaign, it was feedback from them and other personal travel managers that inspired the campaign that resulted in Karen Farley and many other new recruits being motivated to learn more.
Ms Wiggins who signed up as the representative of Warners Bay NSW says she refers to TravelManagers as her second family.
"I chose TravelManagers because they were the best fit for my business and I now feel totally connected."
Singing a similar tune, Ms Hemming representative of North Rocks NSW and Ms Turner representative of Windsor QLD were pleasantly surprised that being in partnership with TravelManagers not only met but exceeded their expectations.
Spending time researching what travel agent jobs in Australia were on offer elsewhere, Ms Turner believes that TravelManagers is "better than any competitor in the industry operating a similar model".
Ms Farley representative of Redbank Plains QLD feels the same way.
"I joined TravelManagers to increase my earnings and to improve my efficiency using Tramada. I was very keen on more local supplier contact and TravelManagers model of a state based business partnership manager to assist me with growing my business was just so impressive. What’s even more remarkable was the reality is even better.”
Sometimes the risk of going mobile can appear greater when you're a corporate travel agent but Sean Simmons representative of Richmond VIC and Rebecca Crosbie representative of Ballarat VIC both say with the right support and business model behind you, it’s not an issue. When asked about the benefits of making the switch Mr Simmons wasn’t sure where to start.
"I definitely feel now I’m able to offer the service levels that I believe my clients deserve and want and an added bonus is I've increased my earnings threefold."
Similarly Ms Crosbie says she enjoys being able to "work less and earn more" by joining TravelManagers.
"The support from TravelManagers National Partnership Office is amazing; I’m working smarter not harder which is hugely beneficial for me personally but also for the bottom line of my business".
Helen McIver was the first personal travel manager representative for TravelManagers in Queensland and after a successful career in retail travel decided to make the switch. She says she only has one message for people wondering about making the move.
"I only wish I'd talked to TravelManagers years ago."
Ms Scotney says the new advertisements will run for the next month.
