Our Sabah adventure is a must for wildlife and outdoor lovers. There is so much to see in a short space of time as we show you some amazing wildlife and rainforests, clear blue seas, unspoilt islands and Mount Kinabalu - Borneo's highest mountain. We start with a visit to the World Heritage site of Kinabalu National park and make the overnight ascent of the magnificent Mount Kinabalu. Two days are then spent viewing the prolific wildlife in Kinabatangan Wildlife Sanctuary, venturing in search of probiscus and silver leaf monkeys, wild orang utan, birds and other wildlife. Next, Sandakan, with time to spend on Selingan Island, where in season, giant sea turtles arrive at night to lay their eggs. After that we visit Sepilok sanctuary to observe the orang-utans in their natural habitat in this vast jungle refuge. We make a visit to the Australian War Memorial, and from there we return to Kota Kinabalu.
