:: Genies grant Millennium wishes for MEETINGS ::

Arabian Nights came to life last night in Rotorua, with Millennium Hotel & Resorts hosting a welcoming event to ease buyers and exhibitioners into MEETINGS which kicks off in the city today.

Held in the hotel’s Poolside, male genie’s posed with guests, while tenors performed classical and upbeat tracks.

Director of sales at the hotel Alison Rogers said hosting the MICE event in Rotorua was important for the city to continue developing its business appeal.

“We’ve all had recent challenges in our lives lately,” she explained.

“This is the first time it will be held in Rotorua and it’s important for Rotorua.”
