Travelport, the business services provider to the global travel industry, has renewed its marketing agreement with Hong Kong-based carrier Dragonair. Effective immediately, the agreement will deliver all Apollo, Galileo and Worldspan-connected agents worldwide with comprehensive access to Dragonair’s inventory of flights, fares and seat availability. The new agreement also enables Dragonair to further promote its flights and fares through Travelport’s dedicated suite of marketing solutions. This includes Travelport Sponsored Flights, an innovative point-of-sale advertising tool available in a number of regions, that enables airlines to promote flights and fares through optimum visibility on a travel agent’s availability results screen. “This renewed agreement is a testament to our strength as a distribution partner to one of the leading airlines in Greater China. With this partnership, our subscribers worldwide will remain competitive with content and functionality parity across Dragonair’s flight network,” said Andrew Middleton, Vice President of Supplier Services, Asia-Pacific. |
