National Business Partnership
Manager – Michael Gazal |
As the financial year-end closes it initiates an incredible amount of work and expense as sets of accounts are drawn up. It also allows time for reflection about the cost and increasing regulations that must be adhered to for travel agency owners. National Partnership Manager Michael Gazal says increasingly they are getting more enquiries from travel agency owners who want to stay in the industry but are feeling burnt out by the pressures.
“It takes a huge amount of time and energy to run your own business with finding and managing staff, marketing the business and the high costs of paying rent, let alone complying with licensing requirements. It’s draining and it often takes the owner away from what they love best, working with their clients.”
Mr Gazal says the low cost and high return benefit of the personal travel manager model is proving a real draw card.
“Becoming a personal travel manager is a credible and viable option for travel agency owners that revoluntionises their lives. It takes away all those hassles and allows them to get back to what they do best – looking after clients. Ironically it’s what often attracted them to the industry in the first place and as an owner they either miss out on that now or they are so busy running their business working with clients just becomes too stressful.”
Mr Gazal says as with most business across a broad range of industries the 80:20 rule applies.
“A travel agency customer base is no different to other sectors and 20 percent of the clients deliver 80 percent of the profits, becoming a personal travel manager allows you to legitimise focusing of that 20 percent only.
“In addition to this as a personal travel manager you eliminate the need for a costly shop front so no longer have to worry about rent, no need for staff or just work with the real performers and reduce compliance costs! It all results in improved cash flow and more time to sell and increase margin and profit from existing and new business.”
TravelManagers believe one of the biggest benefits they can offer is the back-up and support of their team.
“The support is massive from experts to assist with induction, systems training, business planning, marketing and a state-based business partnership manager at your disposal dedicated to focusing on the growth of that personal travel manager’s individual business. TravelManagers’ financial results and growth speak for themselves; we’re highly successful as are our personal travel managers.”
