Online travel agent Expedia has announced the launch of the Expedia Access platform, a tool designed to support the Expedia Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP). In addition to streamlining agent reporting and login procedures, the new portal will enable users to personalise and re-brand invoices and programs for clients, allowing the download of itineraries into Microsoft Word or Outlook. Furthermore, managers and consultants will have access to daily activity and commission reports as well as the ability to include a search Widget to enrich their own website. “Personalising Itineraries and invoices with the agents own logo is a common request plus the ability of the agents to check their commissions, at a glance. More than 15,500 travel agencies across the globe currently utilise TAAP, which provides access to Expedia’s inventory as well as commissions on bookings. TAAP users will be migrated across to the new platform over the next few weeks. |
