Air Mauritius lands in Shanghai

  :: Air Mauritius lands in Shanghai ::

The first Air Mauritius flight to Shanghai landed yesterday afternoon at 16h30 under the applause of passengers on board. This inaugural flight was under the command of Captain Alain Leung Hing Wah, assisted in the cockpit by First Officer Richmond Luk Ok Choo and in the cabin by Senior Flight Purser James Sam-Soon.

On arrival, a meeting of sega dancers and lion dance performers attracted the attention of passengers at Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The arrival function was attended by Mr Hu Yaming, Deputy Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority of China(CAAC), Mr Li Derun, CEO and Mr Jia Ruijun, GM, both from Shanghai International Airport (SIA). In their speeches, they all heartily welcomed the Air Mauritius flight as a catalyst in bringing the two countries and their people closer. The CEO of SIA also offered to help Air Mauritius and Mauritius by offering opportunities on their communication platforms for the marketing of the airline and the destination.
