The local Travelport team surprised Harvey World Travel with cakes and champagne to celebrate the franchise’s 60th year in operation.
2011 sees a number of milestones for the two businesses, with Travelport also celebrating its 40th birthday and over 20 years in partnership with Harvey World Travel.
Harvey World Travel Managing Director David Rivers said, “Our partnership with Travelport has grown from strength to strength over the last two decades, with a vast majority of our network today using Travelport. We look forward to a prosperous future working together.”
Travelport’s General Manager for Australia and New Zealand, Sean Cummins agreed, saying “Harvey World Travel is one of Australia’s most recognised travel brands and the relationship with Travelport remains as strong as ever. Travelport looks forward to working closely with Harvey’s for many more years to come and we are both excited about the new products we’re launching in the coming months."
