The Consul General of the United States of America invited the team at Visit USA and e-Travel Blackboard for a belated 4th of July inspection aboard the destroyer USS Fitzgerald last Friday.

The USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62) and USS McCampbell (DDG 85) are in Sydney as part of exercise Talisman Sabre 2011. A combined naval activity for Australian and US forces for combat readiness training and to strengthen the ongoing military alliance between the two countries.
