In 2012, Rocky Mountaineer will expand the SilverLeaf glass dome fleet on the popular First Passage to the West rail journey. The partially-domed SilverLeaf coach boasts twice the viewing area of RedLeaf coaches and allows guests to move around and interact with other passengers without missing any of the spectacular scenery. 

Also new for 2012 is the introduction of the Coastal Passage route. The new route will connect Seattle, one of the world’s most popular cruise ports, to Vancouver and the Canadian Rockies and will complement Rocky Mountaineer’s existing four journeys.
