Travelscene American Express Members are continuing to reap the rewards of the group’s support of Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea (ABMT), with enhanced local and national brand and business profiling.

For Lisa Miles and Louise Kenny of Rockhampton-based Travel Crew the decision to host a Morning Tea paid off – with an all expense paid ‘Morning Tea Masterclass’ in Sydney with ABMT national ambassadors and celebrity chefs, Janella Purcell and Adriano Zumbo and the rest of the ABMT winners.

Travel Crew were the winners of Travelscene American Express Member competition and won flights to Sydney with Qantas Airways and two nights’ accommodation at a Mantra property plus added support from Travelscene American Express.

Travelscene American Express secured a national corporate partner role with Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, providing more than $30,000 travel prizes for hosts and consumers, including trips to South Africa, Hong Kong and Bali.

Travelscene American Express General Manager Jacqui Timmins said in addition to supporting a worthy cause, the partnership provided a powerful platform for Members to engage with their local community.

“Our Members really went all out to make a difference by hosting morning teas and involving their local communities and, as well as generating much needed funds for cancer research, we all had a great deal of fun while boosting our Members’ profiles within their communities,” Ms Timmins.
