Accommodation prizes and property updates wooed agents and consultants at the Pan Pacific Hotels Group first ever exposition in Sydney yesterday. 

Hosted at the Parkroyal, Darling Harbour, agents not only picked up news on hotel additions and renovations but up to 15 winners walked away with free accommodation at one of the Group’s 30 hotels, apartments and serviced suites while one lucky winner received free flights courtesy of Singapore Airlines.

Pan Pacific Hotels Group global sales director Louise Barker told e-Travel Blackboard that although the group had hosted cocktail events in the past the exposition format would allow for better communication between agents and hoteliers.

Among the representatives on hand at the expo in Sydney yesterday included property experts from Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and Vietnam.

Ms Barker added that as the birthplace of Parkroyal, the company was focusing its efforts on increasing the brand’s locations in Australia, particularly after its eleven year hiatus in the country was broken earlier this year with the re-launch in Perth, Parramatta, Sydney and Melbourne.
