Expressions of Interest: Travel Agents Famil Tour to Korea, October 2011

Expressions of interest are being sought for travel agents to join a familiarization tour to Korea from 16 October – 23 October, 2011 (only 13 places available). The tour organized by the Gyeongsangbukdo Tourism Promotion Office in Sydney will visit the capital city of Seoul, Incheon city as well as touring Gyeonsangbukdo province.

The highlights of Gyeongsangbukdo province include the traditional village of Andong and Gyeongju, the former ancient capital of Korea as well as the beautiful mountain area of Mungyeong, Yeongju and Bonghwa where the autumn colours will be at their very best at this time of the year.

The touring arrangements are fully sponsored including single room accommodation, all meals, transportation, entrance fees and an English speaking guide. However, travel agents must purchase their own return air ticket from Australia to Korea. Travel Agents can apply directly to Asiana Airlines(OZ) to request AD75 after they have been accepted to participate in the familiarization trip.

Travel agents who are interested in joining the familiarization tour to Korea this October should send their application and full details of employment, and their interest in sales to the destination to the Sydney office of Korea Tourism Organization by email: visitkorea@knto.org.au no later than Friday 19 August, 2011 to register their interest to participate in the familiarisation tour.

The organizer, William Seung, Director of Gyeongsangbukdo Tourism Promotion Office in Sydney will then follow-up with the selected agents. Only (13) seats are available for the familiarization visit. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis. After acceptance by the organizer, the travel agent will be responsible to purchase their own return ticket to join the tour immediately upon confirmation.
