The Travelscene American Express National Consultants Conference (NCC) star studded gala evening showcased the group’s crème de la crème, awarding members for their achievements and suppliers for their support throughout the year.
The glittering award show proved to be a hit with consultants as they danced the night away to musical guest, Stan Walker’s crowd pleasing performance.
Introducing for the first time the Best Travel Agency Award, judged by an external panel, General Manager, Jacqui Timmins said Travelscene would “maximise the impact of that win at a Member level, a range of initiatives are being implemented including a Consumer Advocacy Campaign which reinforces the power of our Travelscene American Express Members, social media campaigns, strategic marketing, as well as in-store profiling”.
Winners included:
Rising Star of the Year Award: Rebecca Norberry, Travelscene Kempsey
Consultant of the Year Award : Paul Moran, Travelscene Hampton
Most Supportive Preferred Supplier Award: Sabre Pacific
Most Supportive Quantum Supplier Award: Travelscene Holidays
The winners of the state QCme! Awards (for individual support of preferred partners) were:

- Lenny Padowitz, Travelscene Logan (QLD/Northern NSW)
- Alison Hunt, Phil Hoffmann Travel – Stirling (SA/NT)

In its second year, the Travelscene NCC has already proved a hit with consultants according to Ms Timmins, who said the revamped agenda following member surveys last year allowed for an even better outcome this year.
“This has been a tremendous 12 months for Travelscene American Express and our Members and NCC has been a fantastic opportunity for us to celebrate that with our frontline consultants and thank them for their key role in our ongoing success,” she said.
