Star Alliance is celebrating Jeans for Genes Day on Friday (5 August) by rewarding every travel agency that tickets a Star Alliance fare product on the day with a $100 voucher per ticket.

At the same time, Star Alliance will donate $200 to Jeans for Genes for every fare ticketed on Jeans for Genes Day – part of the Alliance’s ongoing support of the charity, which raises funds for vital research into childhood diseases.

To qualify for the $100 voucher agents must first download and complete an entry form for the Star Alliance Jeans for Genes Travel Agent Incentive, which was launched on 1 July and runs until 31 August.

During the entire incentive period, every time a travel agency sells any one of Star Alliance’s 15 fare products the Alliance will donate $100 to Jeans for Genes (except for Jeans for Day on Friday 5 August when the donation is $200).

At the end of the incentive, the agency in each state that has raised the most funds will receive $50 cash for every ticket they sold (up to a maximum of $1000 in cash).
