Pan Pacific Hotels Group has unveiled the look the exterior of its first all-green hotel in Singapore, PARKROYAL on Pickering.
The $350 million property is due to open by mid-2012 will be located in the financial hub of Singapore and will feature rainwater harvesting, automatic sensors to regulate energy and water usage and solar cells.
The hotel will also include up to 15,000 square metres of skygardens, reflecting pools, waterfalls and green walls.
“The design of PARKROYAL on Pickering demonstrates how we can not only conserve greenery in our high-rise city centre but multiply it in a manner that is architecturally striking, integrated and sustainable,” WOHA senior associate Donovan Soon said.
“It underpins our garden city image and will set Singapore as a world leader on the stage of green high-rise developments.”
