Seats for the 2011 Virgin Australia Christmas TraveLeague Luncheon are filling fast with people having wasted no time in reserving their place with over 200 bookings already made. The event will be held at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium on Wednesday 14 December from 12.30 onwards.
Bookings made by Thursday 30 September go into the draw with a major prize on offer of fabulous Hayman Island. 2 nights luxury accommodation in a Pool Deluxe room, return luxury launch transfers from Hamilton Island marina, full breakfast daily at Azure and a Chefs Table for 2 adults, one of the Hayman Signature Experiences.
This year Christmas TraveLeague is getting behind research into (MND) Motor Neurone Disease. MND occurs in all countries of the world, usually in people over the age of forty, but there have been many cases of younger people being affected. Average survival time after diagnosis is three to five years, but for approximately one third of people, survival after diagnosis is less than one year.
“Last year the luncheon raised over $7,000 for the Autism Alliance and this year we hope to do even better for MND research,” said Barry Huxley.
“Last year was a great success and we expect it’s very likely we’ll have a sell-out again, so I recommend you book now,” said Craig. “We can’t promise to take extra numbers: we are limited with space based on our arrangements with Crown Casino.”
“And our new look website will enable information on the event to be accessed easily with a one-click through to make your booking” said Matthew. “So put the date in your diary – Wednesday 14 December 2011”
Tickets to the luncheon are $110 plus GST for MasterCard/Visa/AMEX payments. Tables of 10 are also able to be reserved online. The ticket price includes all food and drink at Crown’s Palladium Ballroom, terrific door prizes, entertainment and DJ, plus entry into the after-party.
