Travel Counsellors has introduced a special anniversary day event to create the opportunity for its agents to celebrate and enjoy the continued growth of their businesses.

With anniversaries ranging from one to four years, thirty Travel Counsellors visited the company’s head office in Melbourne last week to be greeted with a champagne reception and to be congratulated for all their hard work and dedication. During the day the anniversary attendees enjoyed a tour around the company’s head office, which is home to a growing team of staff dedicated to supporting the company’s agents in all areas of their businesses, including admin, IT, marketing and business development.

Queensland based Travel Counsellor Kerrie Croft comments; After being a Travel Counsellor for three years it was lovely to be invited back to head office to celebrate my anniversary along with twenty nine other agents.  We were greeted with champagne and treated to lunch with our General Manager Deb Duncun and the team, as well as having a tour of our ever expanding head office.  The day was informal and relaxed, and it was fantastic to have the opportunity to spend time there to see just how much support is provided to us and how great the team dynamics are. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to celebrating my next anniversary day back in Melbourne.”

The attending Travel Counsellors were also part of the live studio audience at the company’s weekly TCTV broadcast to its agents across the country. Celebrating her four year anniversary, Victoria based Claudia Silk was interviewed on the show by Deb Duncun, and talked to viewers about how she has built up her valuable business with Travel Counsellors using the tools and support provided by head office.

Claudia comments, “The anniversary day was a great opportunity to catch up with other Travel Counsellors and head office staff, who I now consider to be really good friends. Deb Duncun demonstrated to us how the company is moving forward, and it was so inspiring to listen to her talk about Travel Counsellors and our individual businesses with such passion. I left the day feeling extremely motivated and tremendously excited about my future with Travel Counsellors.”

Travel Counsellors Australia’s General Manager, Deb Duncun comments; “We introduced this special anniversary day for our Travel Counsellors to reward them for their hard work and give them an opportunity to revisit our head office, meet our team of support staff and ask any questions they may have face to face. We have had an excellent reaction from the attending Travel Counsellors and look forward to welcoming more agents as they celebrate their anniversaries with the company in the future.”

In Travel Counsellors’ 2010 Australia survey, 100% of its agents said they are happier now than in their previous job, and nine out of ten of the agents who join the company stay with the company.
