Carnival Breeze Launches with a Mediterranean and Trans-Atlantic Voyage

Travel the World celebrates the arrival of Carnival Breeze, which will launch in Venice in June 2012, with exciting cruise packages for its Mediterranean and trans-Atlantic voyages.

Carnival Breeze is a Dream-class cruise ship, one of the latest of the Carnival Cruise Lines ships to enter the fleet. Featuring all the onboard facilities her Dream-class sisterships, Carnival Magic and Carnival Dream, Carnival Breeze will have expansive top-deck areas such as WaterWorks, an aqua park with exhilarating water slides and other attractions; SportSquare, an open-air recreation complex with a ropes course, mini-golf, and outdoor fitness area; The Lanai, a wraparound promenade with whirlpools extending over the ship’s sides, and a 270-square-foot poolside LED screen displaying movies, and other programming. She will sail out of Venice to the Mediterranean on her maiden voyage.

Carnival Breeze will kick off its inaugural 2012 season with a 12-day Mediterranean voyage from Venice stopping at Dubrovnik, Athens, Izmir, Messina, Sardinia, Rome, Livorno (Florence/Pisa), Monaco, Marseille and Barcelona. Each port offers guests an array of sightseeing experiences, from world-class museums, shops and restaurants to famous historical landmarks, unique architecture and cultural opportunities not found anywhere else in the world.        

Commencing in November 2012, Carnival Breeze will depart on a jam-packed 15-Day Trans-Atlantic Crossing, departing from Barcelona and exploring ports of call including Palma de Mallorca and Malaga, Spain; Las Palmas, Canary Islands; Antigua and St. Maarten in the Caribbean before arriving in Miami.

Carnival Breeze offers two port intensive eight-day cruises (departing 24 November & 8 December) with four-port itineraries departing from Miami. Each cruise showcases the best that the Caribbean has to offer, from the gorgeous beaches to delectable island cuisine. This port intensive cruise runs on a Saturday to Sunday rotation stopping Grand Turk, La Romana (Dominican Republic), Curacao, and Aruba, along with an eight-day eastern Caribbean route visiting St. Thomas, Antigua, Tortola and Nassau.

Finally for those looking for a short break, Carnival Breeze will offer a six-day Caribbean cruise from Miami beginning December 2, 2012. The schedule will feature visits to three popular ports of call including Grand Turk, B.W.I.; Falmouth, Jamaica; and Nassau, The Bahamas. The six-day Caribbean cruise has something for everyone from beautiful white-sand beaches, excellent shopping, dining and sightseeing experiences.
