:: Current World Champions take time in Taupo to ride Hukafalls Jet ::

The current world champion Springboks took the opportunity on their day off to participate in some of Taupo’s finest attractions, with most visiting Hukafalls Jet for a thrilling jet boat ride to the base of Huka Falls.

Accompanied by coach Peter de Villiers, the team arrived mid-morning, exciting the throngs of rugby fans who were at Hukafalls Jet awaiting their turn for a ride!

The team took some time to have photos with fans from all nations before jumping on-board.  Coach de Villiers was quite keen to demonstrate his training tactics by taking charge of the safety briefing on board the boat.   Driver Steve Ming said they were great fun to take out, really responsive to all of his normal jokes, and all took advantage of their time at Huka Falls by taking ‘heaps of photos’ to take home to show their friends and families.

South Africa is in Taupo twice during the Rugby World Cup, and the team all commented how much they loved it here and were enjoying the kiwi hospitality.
