Royal Caribbean has announced that the ‘DreamWorks Experience’ will extend to a fifth ship, Voyager of the Seas in 2012.
The largest, most innovative ship to sail in Australia, New Zealand and Asia, Voyager of the Seas sails her first season from 26 May 2012 in Asia before heading to Australia from 5 November 2012.
“Expanding the DreamWorks Experience to Voyager of the Seas further illustrates our commitment to Australia, New Zealand, China and their surrounding regions,” said Adam Goldstein, president and CEO, Royal Caribbean International at a press conference in Shanghai.
“This is really going to set us apart in the region as an international cruise line that delivers the very best in family entertainment for vacationers around the world.”
Characters including Po, Shrek and Puss in Boots will be on hand for onboard guest experiences including special events, parades, character breakfasts and screenings of DreamWorks’ most famous movies including “Shrek”, “Madagascar” and “Kung Fu Panda”.
“Royal Caribbean offers a one-of-a-kind experience for their customers and we very much look forward to extending our entertainment offering in Australia, New Zealand and Asia,” said Lew Coleman, animation president and CFO DreamWorks.
Launching on Allure of the Seas in November 2010, the DreamWorks Experience has expanded to Oasis of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, and Liberty of the Seas.
