:: Yardhouse opens in Sydney ::

Sydney-siders and visitors alike have a new bar, dining and entertainment choice after the Yardhouse Bar and Brasserie opened its doors in Haymarket this week.

With up to 125 years history sealed into a modern, fun venue and filled with up to 60 various types of beer, Metro Hospitality Group chief executive George Bedwani said the venue was designed to be the one stop shop for new and traditional patrons after work and on the weekends.

“Yardhouse Bar and Brasserie is an exciting new venue in Sydney’s entertainment precinct,” Mr Bedwani explained.

“We wanted to ensure the venue retained links to its heritage while also expanding its offering to appeal to a broader clientele.”

Speaking at the launch last night, Mr Bedwani explained that the hotel had appointed Daniel Collins as the new head chef to create up to three different menus for various dining experiences.

Dining options include four various types of steaks and skewers, spiced calamari, six mains as well as pies, salmon and crab as well as other selections from the bar menu, brasserie menu and the theatre menu.

Adding a touch of theatre to the banquet, Mr Bedwani said the bar would host two legends of the past singing and entertaining evenings, where guests can watch the favourites of the past perform the classics.

To check out the venue and indulge on the bar’s mouth-watering cuisines stop by the Yardhouse on the corner of George St and Hay St in Sydney.
