Creative Holidays launch 2012 Arabian Peninsula program

Wednesday, 19 October 2011

Creative Holidays’ 2012 Arabian Peninsular program is now on agents’ shelves, presenting a comprehensive range of accommodation, sightseeing and extended touring in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Oman, and for the first time, Qatar.

Paul McGrath, managing director, Creative Holidays said, “We’ve released our 2012 Arabian Peninsular brochure, extending into Qatar and brochuring a vast range of new properties, sightseeing and extended touring across the region.

“Since we first launched the program in 2008, we’ve seen consistent growth year-on-year, with Australians enjoying the unique culture, variety of sightseeing and experiences, tax-free shopping, world-class golf courses, gold and spice souks, and so much more.

“It’s this appeal, combined with excellent airline choices servicing the region, which has driven bookings and really opened the area up to Australians. The increased air-capacity flying into Abu Dhabi, as well as increased promotion and exposure of the city, has led to the destination heralding itself as the ‘it’ place to visit in 2012, while Dubai and Oman are also predicted to continue to perform well.

“The introduction of Qatar in our 2012 product collection comes on the back on Qatar Air’s flights from Melbourne into the region, ensuring we continue to provide product to suit the needs of Australian travellers.

“We’ve also worked to deliver a choice of new tours in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Oman to showcase the destination in a different way. Some of which include At the Top, a trip to the top of the Burj Khalifa, Boating Adventure, taking travellers around the seas of Dubai, Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi and in Oman, the Heights of Haijar, Sunset Dhow Cruise and
Amazing Oman extended tour.

More than 18 new hotels, each carefully vetted by our experienced product team based on location, facilities and value for money have also been contracted. This ensures we continue to provide for all markets, delivering a quality range of properties ranging from three to five-star in quality.

“In Jumeirah Beach, with construction around the area now almost complete, we have increased our hotel range, as it’s a great place to walk around the shops, dine or take a dip in the ocean. Some of the new properties introduced for 2012 include; Jumeirah Zabeel Saray – a wonderful new Ottoman period style hotel on The Palm, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, Sheraton Jumeirah Beach, Movenpick Jumeirah Beach, Atlantis the Palm and Sofitel Jumeirah Beach.

“While once commonly renowned solely as a stop-over, travellers are increasingly staying in the region for longer periods and we recommend, with the ever-changing choice and variety, that agents encourage their clients to do just that - stay a little longer to really soak up the mystical Arabian nights and take the time to explore, dine, shop and relax”.
