Lufthansa has welcomed a new A380 into its fleet, arriving into Singapore Changi Airport earlier this week.

Earlier this year the carrier said it would utilise the large aircraft on its gateway in Singapore with daily flights on the Frankfurt route.

The carrier’s Australia based general manager Kai Peters explained the new aircraft would help the airline boost its capacity at Singapore Changi Airport by up to 25 percent.

“The increased capacity fits perfectly with the ever growing demand Lufthansa Australia is experiencing especially to the Singapore gateway,” Mr Peters said.
